General Information

The Courthouse is located in the centre of the central business district of George Town. Included in this unique project were conference and attorney’s rooms, The Grand Court and Magistrates’ chambers and a library on the upper level, the ground floors being reserved for administrative offices and holding cells.

Elaborate and imaginative use has been made of slate and hardwoods in what has since become an award-winning design.
