General Information

Located in the capital of one of the leading offshore financial centres, the building is the Administration Building for the Cayman Islands Government. The Building accommodates the Governors, Premiers, Deputy Governors Offices and other elected Ministers. The five-storey building provides 185,000 SF of premium office space and 50,000 SF basement car park. The external envelope was upgraded to meet the Government’s enhanced hurricane shelter code, and at completion, was the only office building in the island to meet this stringent standard.

The Building’s Mechanical Systems are based on geothermal technology, which significantly reduces annual energy costs.

The project achieved LEED Silver, another first not only for the Cayman Islands but also for the first time in the Caribbean.
