Our Projects
Over the past 50 years, McAlpine Limited has been involved in the delivery of some of Cayman’s most iconic buildings and infrastructure projects both for the Government and private sector clients. From our first project, the Legislative Assembly through to the recent redevelopment of Owen Roberts International Airport we have provided many of Cayman’s landmark buildings.
McAlpine has built a reputation for high quality construction and expertise in all sectors. Our well trained locally based team, experienced in building in Cayman provides our Clients with the confidence to work with us even on the most complex projects.
Our Services
McAlpine prides itself in the wide range of services we can offer our clients. This ranges from our core business as a General Contractor, to being one of the few Contractors in Cayman to provide a Design and Build capability. We have also undertaken many significant infrastructure projects, particularly the construction of the original cargo port and subsequent upgrades.
We also have the capability to carry out high quality fit outs for our Clients and their tenants on commercial office projects.
Careers With Us
McAlpine currently employs nearly 100 operatives, the vast majority of whom are Caymanian, which includes; Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, Health and Safety Managers, Head Office Management and Plant Yard, Tradesmen, Skilled and Unskilled Labourers. Most of our employees have been with us for many years and we like to develop and train our operatives to achieve promotion within the company.
We also take on student interns to help develop their interest in construction with a view to employment once they have completed their studies
